I was looking in my "My Music" folder on my pc one day and when i opened it up all the files were gone. I then proceded to look in the properties of the folder and it said there was 650 mb of music in there and when i use my windows media player it still acts as if the files were there. Is there any way to see if i can make the files appear in the folder again?

Do you have media sharing enabled?

-Control Panel
-Folder Options
-View Tab
-Tick "show hidden files and folders"

-Go to My Music, files should be there, but slightly faded
-Highlight them > Properties and untick hidden (This should stop them being faded)

Then go back to your Control Panel and "Hide hidden files and folders"

That may be whats wrong....
