Default Integrated Audio Broken?

I just bought a monitor a couple of weeks ago and it came with integrated speakers and for some reason it doesn't seem like they're working anymore. I can't listen to music on my computer, and the little volume icon that is usually at the bottom right of the screen doesn't show up anymore. I went to the windows control panel to see if the device an the audio device was showing up and it wasn't.

I'm pretty sure the speakers are broken. Is there anything else that I can do to check if the speakers are working?

Everything is plugged in btw.

Check your device manager. Is there a yellow ! by the audio device? If so you need to reinstall yoru audio drivers.
