Default I need a program that can reformat DVD-RW's rather then nero 7.

Does anybody know of any software that can format or reformat DVD-RW or DVD+RW I used nero 7 to format my disc's now its screwed up 3 or 4 disc's and rendered it useless without nero 7 to format it. I can't trust nero 7's incd5 to format it correctly.

Hmm..is it just nero or is it your DVD drive? Nero should work perfectly, I've used both 6 and 7 erasing RW disc, no problem. Bad installation?

You could use Windows to do that, couldn't you. I'm not sure, since I'm not on a Windows machine at the moment.

has roxio become more stable since v7.5 ? the last time I tried it on a 2.40ghz celeron the program was very lagging and could crash if you would even sneeze by accident.

I hate Nero 7....... the only reason why I hate it because the developers who made that version really screwed to a point where it becomes useless for just about anything accept for burning CD's and maybe some DVD disc's. and no my Memorex DVD-+RW works perfectly.
