Default I lose audio after playing games

HI all

when Im done playing games and go to windows I dont have any audio untill a reboot. I have creative audio titanium sound card the one with the front panal
and I run it in vista 64 bit with the newest official beta drivers

It has modes for gaming and entertainment, and i think a 3rd I never use audio creation or something but I play games in game mode obviously and when Im done gaming I put it in entertainment to aviod static. but alas no sound after games. what could cause this?

Contact Creative and tell them of this bug. Since you are using Beta drivers there is no way for us to give a answer on what it could truly be. I would wager to guess it has something to do with the audio processing after the games shut down which would be a driver issue. Being that you are using the latest Beta Drivers it would have to be reported to them to fix.

It happened with their newest stable drivers also I just tested it

Still could be something with the drivers. Other than that check to make sure that the card is seated. Check the Device Manager after you shut down a game. Does it show the sound card?
