| I would like to transfer my VHS Video to CD. How do I do this. What is the best Video / TV inpt card that I must have. what else I need to perform the task. Please help me out from What should I have in terms of hardware and software .. What is the process of performing the task. Thanks |

| Basic steps: Connect VCR to some kind of PC capture device Play tape, record on PC Recompress captured video, edited if needed, to either VCD (MPEG-1), SVCD (MPEG-2), or AVI (DivX?) format, depending on what you want to do with the CDs. Burn CDs, enjoy For capturing VHS, you'll be limited in terms of quality to about VCD resolution (352x240), no point going higher than that.
