Default How to resize images using Photoshop?

Hi, I've been told that you can resize images, specifically the logons for logonstudio? I have no idea how to even use Adobe Photoshop..Can someone guide me through the steps to resize the logons? I have Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended Version 10.0.
Thank you.

If by resizing you mean changing the height/width, Image->Image Size will do it.

Or to resize a specific thing inside the image (after selecting it..such as something in a separate layer): Edit > Transform > Scale. And if you want to keep the proportions the same, click on the little chainlink on the top toolbar.
