Default how to get comp to run dvds in hd.

hey just wondering if any of u know how to get my pc to play dvds in high def or at least high resolution. My card supports it, and i have a 22inch monitor but when i play dvds i get mediocre quality.

DVD's are not Hi-def. They are either 720 by 486 (NTSC) or 768 by 576 (PAL). That's all there is; you can't pull more pixels from somewhere else.
