Default How to fix hdd player?

Recently, I bought a RMVB HDD Player for 2.5 Inch IDE with VGA Port
using Western digital 120G hard disk. Initially, the hard disk was
partioned into 4 part. Each partition was formatted as FATS 32 with less
than 32G memory allocation.

After reformatting, I transfered some JPEG files into one of the FAT32
drive and confirmed the data files by being able to open the pictures from the
computer. However, when the HDD player was connected to TV or computer
monitor using RCA cable (without USB cable), no input signal showed up
(blank), not even the menu set up screen appeared on TV monitor. The TV montor looked something like rainy droplet (not blue screen). Any idea why and how to fix it? Thanks....
