I have been ripping some movies to my laptop and would like to watch them on my TV. The TV has a VGA hookup and I can get the picture on the screen, but it only takes up a small portion of the screen. Is there any way to get the picture to utilize the full screen? I can post pictures this afternoon if you all need help understanding it.

what model is your laptop?
have you tried changing the resolution?
is there a "overscan" feature on the tv?

The laptop is a Toshiba Satellite...A105-S1014...I THINK.

Those are the specs on the TV...not sure about overscan. I have messed with the resolution but to no avail.
