Ok, I feel like I asked this before, but I beleive I 'found' a Y-Splitter, but im not sure it it really is.
Ok heres the deal, I have two systems, Logitech Z-5300e, and X-530.
I want to attach the x-530 sub to work along with the 5300e one. i dont really need the sats hooked up from x-530.
Ok the y-splitter has the 'male' connector as a green one, and there are two 'females' and they seem to allow sound inputs. I have put the male inputs from the x-530s and they fit perfectly in there, and same goes for the sound card + male y-splitter connector.
Well the strange part to me is actually how it splits, the split seems weird for connecting two speakers. The male side of the y-splitter is GREEN, which seems fine since thats front two speakers i beleive, But it splits into GREEN and BLACK. Well ok isnt black the rears? how do i attach both subs so they all work?
**** is it even the proper stuff i need or what? The other weird thing is that the x-530 sub has its sound card male connectors connected to the actual front right speaker. so it will leave the yellow center one danglling. So does it work like, i connect the x-530 sub and front two speakers or what?
help!!
