Default HDMI - Help

Hello people, this is what I want to do...

Watch Movies from this : LG Home Cinema System | HT503SH : LG UK

On this: Sony SDM-E76D | Our Review | TechRadar UK

Now the plan is ... I connect the given HDMI to the DVD Player and then connect the cable to :

and then connect that to the screen.

Will that work ?

Thanks,
Preacher

as long as the monitor has a hdmi input you shouldnt need a dvi to hdmi adapter. but with the adapter it should work.

yep it should work then. all though it's usually the other way around. like dvi to hdmi on the vid card to hdmi on tv. but i see no reason why it shouldn't work
