Default HD video lagging...

I have some HD movies, and whenever I play them on for example, WMP...it lags. Is this because of my computer (sig)? I know it's pretty old. I was thinking that it's not capapble of playing HD video, because my graphics isn't great.

Default

HD needs tons of power. The next generation of Video cards will be able to render full HDTV smoothly. 1920x1080 @ 60FPS.
