Good computer speakers?

I currently have Logitech Z-5500 5.1 Speakers... the Receiver unit apparently just went out like 30 minutes ago.. im posting a youtube video of what happens right now.. but when its on it plays for like acouple minutes then turns off into standby mode again.. and it won't stay on... it was always on a surge protector.. so pretty much 300 bucks down the drain

So coming from these speakers id hate to down grade but i have no choice.. what would be some awesome sounding speakers to get?

From what I've read, AudioEngine speakers seem to be well liked by those who own them
