Front panel audio USB?

Hey guys, I've got a problem where I cannot switch from speakers to headphones without disabling my speakers through the device manager. I have a Microsoft Digital sound system 80(speakers) which are hooked up to my computer via USB. When I plug in my headphones to the front panel audio it doesnt disable my speaks. The front panel works, but only when I manually turn off the sound system.

Im wondering what options there are to disable the speakers when I plug in
