Free AVI to DVD converter

Hello, trying to burn some of our mini-DV home movies to a DVD for my family.

-I converted the mini-DV to WMV w/ Windows Movie Maker

-From there, I can convert to AVI or other format

I have found some good free downloads, but dont want one w/ a "DEMO VERSION" on the screen.

Does anybody have a good free program that will do this?

Have you tried exporting the video using Windows Movie Maker? If I'm not wrong you can do everything you want using only Win Movie Maker.

Try it and see what you can do.
