What happens is when other people are talking while i am speaking through voice programs (like ventrilo), they get feedback from me (hearing themselves and my game sound), and i have a headset which makes no sense to get feedback. I've attempted to change around most of my audio settings but i am getting no dice.
I would extremely appreciate any help on this topic, it's just rather annoying for everyone else to hear their own voice repeating and explosions going on while all i want them to hear is my microphone!
edit: i have a realtek ac97 sound card if that helps at all
