these were really only the only headphone of significance that I ever messed with. I had them around 12 years ago. I never really used them and I traded them for a home power amp. I paid almost nothing for them a pawn shop yet I knew that they were worth a lot of money. you had to hook a amp or receiver to them but they sounded wonderful, better than regular electrostatic speakers.
