Arrow DVD's after the Burn

So, I've made one home movie thus far using my copy of nero 7 ultimate. The actual 'burning' process takes about the time i'd expect it(roughly 30 minutes to burn an 1:45:06 movie roughly). Well, recently some family members have asked for copies, so, i obliged and when they actually 'viewed' the disk, some of the playback becomes pixelated and the dvd comes to a small halt.

Now, I have used ESA and Phillips brand dvd-rs for the 'master' copies. I burn the dvd to one of these, check the playback and its usually fine. But, i put a direct copy of the work on TDK disc. they are -R's @ 16x writing. So, is there an issue with my original disk or the actual dvd Iam burning from? Should I re burn the project from the avi file that I use ?

Quite Simply:

Every time you introduce a new medium, you lose quality. Thus, since you added the "master" copy, and are now trying to burn from that, you will lose quality on the disc burning from it.

So, try burning from your .avi file, and not the disc.

If you are burning an actual movie, you have to remove the CSS encryption, or the movie won't burn correctly.

if you save the project, you won't go through the encoding process again, it will just burn the disc (2-5 minutes)
