I was just wondering how the people of TF feel about paying for mp3 and music downloads and i was also wondering if it is actually illegal to download music for free from programs such as WinMX and Blubster?

It depends on the song. Some are free, other's aren't.

The only thing that I dont feel guilty about is getting programs that cost $8,000. Like autodesk inventor. I'll pay for It when I start making money off of it. That is the only reason these thousand dollars programs are soo expensive, because you can make money. But like I said im not going to pay somebody just to learn a program on my own.

Depends on where ya live. Here in Canada it's not illegal. I say download as much as ya want. Most popular bands already have tons of money and most not so popular bands put their music on their so they can be discovered by more people. And hey, I've never payed for software in my life. I even downloaded Windows XP Pro. It's ridiculous what companies ask for software. Like $600 for Flash MX 2004. Rip off! If you download music and stuff, use either Limewire or WinMX, those two are the best.
