Default Connecting Pc To Tv With S-Video

im looking to connect my pc to my tv using s-video output to watch videos from my pc on my tv..i know i need the s-video cable a y-adapter and the red and white cables.

i am running windows xp home edition service pack 3 with a radeon x600 video card on a dell dimension e510..after i get the cables and connect them..what do i do from there?

ive read something about this clone mode thing..can i only set that once the pc is connected to the tv cause right now i go where it should be in ati settings and it says theater mode options i click that and it says these overlay options are only available in dual controller clone mode and not single displays or extended desktop configurations

Default Re: Connecting Pc To Tv With S-Video

Hello,

Right click on the desktop. Go under Settings. There you should see 2 montiors (1 being the TV) But the 2nd monitor will be off. (The TV) Select it and select the option to extend your desktop to this device.

Should bring up the TV then. I dont know the specifics on how to get ATi to use Clone mode though.

Cheers,
Mak
