Default Capturing Real media streaming

Hi,
Is there any way of capturing real media audio streaming to a hard disk. Surely the data is stored somewhere as a temp file or something, or is there a piece of software I can use to record it real time?

Thanx for your help

I tried snagit Devlish but couldn't seem to catch the audio... However if anyone else is interested, after a bit of searching, I managed to solve my own problem. Total Recorder from highciteria does the job and can save the file in various formats, .wav .mp3 etc.
