Default Can't get files from a CD

I have some custom video files I was working on, but I had to reformat my computer and so i threw them onto a blank cd. Now I can't even read the CD. It shows how much space is filled up when i insert it into the drive, but I can't access or see the files.

I know the files aren't corrupted. Is there any software that will make a clean rip of the cd? Even though my computer refuses to see them?

What program did you use to burn the files? If you are lucky you might be able to go back into that program and finalize the CD to be used.

You might be able to try Nero Burning Rom. That might do it. CDBurnerXP might be able to do it as well. I have never used Windows to burn a CD so i dont know if it can be fixed.

Just a stab in the dark.... perhaps the video's were set as 'hidden files' (right click, properties, check box for hidden)... Is explorer set to display hidden & system files?

I don't think so. When I double click it takes forever to load, and finally when it does its blank.
