Alright, the problem is a buzzing noise that comes from my boyfriends computer. It'll happen when he starts up the computer. He has problems with sound not coming through the headset but through the speakers sometimes. The biggest problem is we use Yahoo messenger with voice to talk and then buzzing goes to the headset too and the buzzing is insane where we can't talk. I'm sure it's his computer, but when we're trying to talk through Yahoo, I can hear the buzzing too. I know this doesn't give the best description, but any help is greatly appreciated. If anyone has ANY idea about this.. what might fix it or what to check, please let me know!

there is a grounding issue somewhere. There is either a short in a cable, or something is not connected properly.

A few well placed and strong slaps/hits should do the trick. Of course this applies to both problems.
