Burn avi & srt to dvd using Nero

I am tryinmg to burn avi & srt to dvd using Nero 7 Ultra, all very simple an dexplained online, except it asks me to use UDF type as movie filesize is over 2GB (actual 2.1GB).
How do I do this?
I have searched extensively online to no avail, and amloathe to install/use other software, when what I have should work? So minimal other program do to a small early step may be acceptable.

I know it is on one of those screens. I have seen the option. But it has been at least 3 years since i touched Nero7. Just make sure that you check every tab before you click Burn. Check every tab before you start to even compile the DVD. One of those 2 screens has the option to change it to UDF/ISO format. I just dont know which one off hand and i cant find a decent screen shot of Nero 7 online anymore to view.

Am at work, so don't have time to do a screen shot, but iso tab has 3 drop down menus, none of which has UDF.
If not solved later I will post s/shot.

There is option down the very left for DVD-ROM(UDF) and DVD-ROM(UDF/ISO), but I assume that doesn't provide a DVD-Video (which is what I want)!?

Then what you need to use is Nero Vision to convert the video files to DVD Format to play. Cause .avi and srt file extensions are not supported DVD file formats. So you have to burn them as a Data Disk in order for your player to use them. Nero Burning Rom doesnt do the conversion, it will just do the burning.

Thanks....i'm a little confused, as i think i need to do it in the opposite order you have written.....
Use Burning ROM to create a DVD-ROM(UDF) to merge avi & srt, likely onto HDD, then burn that to disc via Nero Vision (which i have used previously)?

Nero Vision will import and convert the files to VOB format and it can also burn them directly to disk as well. All you should have to do is open Vision, import the files you want to watch on the DVD and convert it and it should take care of the rest. I know i have used this program in the past to make some video files from my camera to a DVD to share with the family. There should be no need to use Burning Rom at all. Vision should take care of it all for you.

Nero Vision 4 doesn't accept the srt file?!!!
I think I need to do what I said first. in Nero, or another program.

Well as much as you dont want to use other software, i know that ConvertXtoDVD can convert this and use that SRT file. It will burn it to disk for you as well.
