Question Which Audio Driver is Better?

Hi everybody,

-Here I've a question; which driver is best for onboard (integrated) audio device (AC'97), whether from the Southbridge maker (eg. SiS, VIA, etc.) or from the CODEC maker (eg. Realtek, C-Media, etc.)?

-I ask this because both party (S/B Mfg & CODEC Mfg) always update their driver at a frequently basis. So, which is better in terms of :-
->Performance/Features
->CPU/Resource Usage
->Compatibility/Stability

-I hope somebody does have the answer, thank you.

Regards,
-Musafir_86.

I'm asuming your using an nForce2 Mobo. I would suggest just using the drivers that came with your mobo CD unless if you are having a problem with them. If you are having a problem update with drivers that your Mobo Manual specifies. Or if it doesnt, the Realtek drivers have never gone wrong with me.
