Default Audio CD's

The audio cd's i burn using nero wont play in my car or my friends cars. But they play in computers. I chose the option to burn audio cd and nero says it should convert the format to play in most audio players. but it wont. does it matter that my cd's are CD-RW?

thanks for the help.

sounds like you've burned a data CD rather than an audio CD.

Not necessarily true. Not all Car CD layers can play CD-RW formats. they can play CD-R formats though. That could be the issue. I know my Trailblazer can not play CD-RW format with the factory stereo.

Agreed although some burners 'just will not' play certain CD-R's etc etc...just have to find some disks that do bud!
