Now for a deck, I have heard the eclipse has some good models. also Kenwood. But I am undecided.
any info would be apreciated. |
actually you said this. it mention enclosures. then I gave you my opinion. this you said something stupid. you could have said that you preferred coaxials or car audio speakers. but you said that the speakers I posted were crap when they alway gave you more bass, then what you bought.
I don't knock what you do. most people will opt for coaxial's because they don't know that they are junk. most people's eye get big when they hear something like pioneer 5 ways. I just got ****ed at your "they are crap" comment.
my and my next door neighbor drove 90 miles to parts express earlier this year in February. we both have just bought '97 green blazers (his is a different color though). I bought 2 midbass driver for my doors (that cost me 20 bucks a a pair). he bought a pair of phoenix gold coaxial that cost him 200 buck for his doors, even though I told him not to do it. he thought like you. that car audio speaker were the shiznit and that I was steering him to junk
well the first thing that he notice when we got home and hooked our system up was that his factory speaker sounded better than his new setup (it had consisted of 2 seriously cheap delco 6 1/2 midrange drivers in the door and 2 delco tweeters in the dash). despite what you think, coaxials give a weak thinny sound. he finally upgrade to my 2 cheap midbass speakers
if you are happy with your setup fine. that's cool. I alway give this advice even though I know that most people will reject it, until they hear it. but don't you dare diss it. if you spent 20 buck and 2 minutes just to experiment, you would know immediately what I'm talking about. it's not rocket science
