| Anyone ever play Neverwinter Nights? I think it was back in 2002 when I bought this game. I heard all kinds of stories about how it will not install correctly or something a long those lines back then. Well I never did play it, I tried to install it and it didn't work on my old OLD computer. Back then I didn't even know the difference between rpg, fps, rts, etc. I just thought a game was a game. Well since then I've come a long ways, I don't really play rpgs. I've tried them and never just got into it.
So last night I installed this just so I could say I finally did it! LOL obviously didn't think I'd have any issues with current rig. Going to start playing it today. How is it?

| Re: Anyone ever play Neverwinter Nights? I ran nwn on a laptop with a 3800+ with a 200m.
I play nwn2 on the same 3800+.. as well as on my desktop which was a q6600 and 8800gt.
SO you should be just fine.
I ran through nwn bougt 3yrs ago, and was a good game. I now waste my days with nwn2.

| Re: Anyone ever play Neverwinter Nights? Played it a bit last night. Not sure if I like it. It seems you don't really get good directions on where to go for your missions. They seem some what vague. Is there a way to run in this game?
I rmbr playing the 10 day trial of WoW and that was better with directions and such....
Any suggestions patonb?

| Re: Anyone ever play Neverwinter Nights? I believe to run, theres an option to "Always run". with pressing shift to walk.
Been so long since I played nwn1, but the game is sorta explore around and the path comes out. To be honest, i had no idea what i was doing, or much about d&d when I played.
If you go to the bioware forums, Neverwinter Nights: Forum Index Theres alot of tips and hints.\
I now play 2, and haven't even actually played the gAme... strictly online worlds, for me thats why I play it.

| Re: Anyone ever play Neverwinter Nights? Yeah, NWN1 was all kinds of free range like that, kinda sandbox-y. I played it for a bit but stopped after a while.

| Re: Anyone ever play Neverwinter Nights? The draw of NWN1 was always the online persistant world servers. I still play today, it hasn't lost its appeal. If you find a good server to play on, its alot of fun.

| Re: Anyone ever play Neverwinter Nights? It's all i play... I've got all 3 expansions, and have yet to play any past an hour or 2.
I found a phenomenal pw, and played that for 2 1/2yrs till oblivian, er obsidian patch/updates destroyed the custom scripting.
The builder finally had enough time to repeice a new world, total custom everything, but using no major tweaking, and i'll be gthere till it busts.
