| Any current WoW players? Been extremely bored lately and started looking at playing WoW again. Is it worth playing now that there is a new expansion? I quit before it came out... I just don't if i want to get into it again. I loved raiding but they required you to play from like 10-1 every night and I just can't do that. Are the end-game raids out now less serious? Or do guilds still require you to slave over them? I wouldn't mind playing again and getting to lvl 80..but I just don't want to waste time if raiding still requires you be so hardcore. And are the raids even that good? I've heard there are only a couple and they aren't that good :\

| Re: Any current WoW players? Yeah I was thinking about buying WoW for the first time, but I don't want to play it if I have to be a hardcore WoWer like Leeroy Jenkin's team xD
I'm playing the trial right now and will probably buy the battlechest thingy and get another 30 days from that, and see how it goes from there. It's been really fun for me so far, stayed up till 6 in the morning playing it.. maybe that's a bad thing since I have to do summer school. |

| Re: Any current WoW players? Haven't tried WOTLK so I can't answer that, quit my three year binge just a month before release, but I have it, unopened, on my shelf. Who knows....
The BG XP is new with the current 3.2 patch. Sucks for me too, I had 5 twinks with thousands invested....

| Re: Any current WoW players? How long does it normally get to get to level 60 these days?
When I was playing it was about 350 hours (or about 2 weeks of constant play). Normally one could get a character up to 60 in about 2 to 6 months depending on how much time you dedicate to it.

i think that's still the norm...maybe a bit less. But only because you can start wearing BC greens (which are better than a lot of lvl 60 epics) at mid 50's and can start questing in outlands at 58.
so no one knows about the raiding? is there any good points to the new expansion at all? I haven't heard anything good out of it yet :\
