Default temperature software

hello!
ive heard around that there is software (freeware) that tells your the temp of certein areas in ur comp.

is this true? if so where can i find it and will it run on windows xp?

I use a mixture of RealTemp and Hardware Monitor - I constantly have RealTemp running, it minimises to the system tray, allowing me to check my CPU temp at a glance, same as the time.
Hardware Monitor I use when I want more detailed and more specific temps (RealTemp only tells you CPU).

Real Temp - CPU temperature monitoring

CPUID

Both work perfectly on XP.

Core Temp is also good, I use that. The newest version is here.
