Default different temp software different readings

Why is it that in PC Wizard it says:
Processor Temp: 25C
Mainboard Temp: 43C

Processor
Core 1: 40C
Core 2: 40C
etc.

this is all while CoreTemp is telling me 40C

main question is why 2 different processor temps? I'm assuming 40C would be correct reading. If so, then what is the 25C that PCWiz is reading?

I think the 25C reading is the temperature of the socket. You should be more concerned with the core temps.
