Default Where did you learn how to create a website?

I'm making a website for my school with dreamweaver. I dont really want to use the templates that im using now, I want to create my own thing. Where did you learn to create your websites?

--by the way, the you was to demonstrate I do know some <U>very basic</u> html, but not much

I started off ...with frontpage ..n' it's ready templates ...later on moved to Dreamweaver ....

It gradually evolved to flash, perl ..etc... I picked up most of the stuff reading the documentation of the software itself ...

Also u could browse around ..look at the source of some good webpages ...n' learn from that too .

lets see.....it all start when i was....

Anyway, I started with frontpage.....soon after i went straight to flash...i've never takin the time yet to mess around with dreamweaver....

I'm ashamed to say that I started with Homestead. After that I just sort of picked HTML up by experimentation, looking at other pages, etc. HTML is really, really easy to pick up; I learned it when I was like 10 or something.

Homestead!!! oh yea I remember now...sry i didn't start with frontpage...i started with homestead...then frontpage... Thanks for helping me remember. =P

Edit: and before i even had internet me and my bros were making websites with this old old ancient computer that didn't even have a harddrive.....i think it was a 386...neway...we made websites with Qbasic

yeah i started with note pad!!
whats not wrong with that!!lol

then i started using webzedit which works good for me.

I learn a lot from http://www.w3schools.com it is an exteremly useful resource for beginning anyway.
