ok we're studying assembly in class (Gr.12) and while i understand the theory behind it i can't seam to make it do anything, can someone point me towards some help texts and tutorials? (or better yet will help?)

Keymaster16, you do need to be a bit more specific... meaning "I can't seem to make it do anything" is too vague to even think of trying to answer it...however, what is your class? They teach theory but don't give you lab time/demonstrations?

I've not done much with it myself, but I will be taking a required course on it at the university...shortly... and always play with stuff before hand. So if you want to give me an idea of what your trouble is/what you'll be using to code, compile and test in, well, that I can do.

He asked for "texts and tutorials". He could just do a Google search for exactly what he wants, and get possibly thousands of tutorials.
