Default Where are all the top-notch coders at???

There seems to have been a shortage of top-notch coders, anyone here think they are a top coder?

You can make a lot of money competing if anyone is interested!

I am a member there but i haven't competed yet, i just like checking out the problem statements and solving them for practice. I might enter a SRM oneday but i have never been interested in competition. I am thinking about entering next years collegiate challenge, but only if it doesn't interfere with school. To me as soon as there is money involved it feels like work.

They are offering cash prizes for the SRMs once a month and they have $5000 in cash prizes to design the 2005 TopCoder Open. You should practice in the arena, believe me, the more events you have under your belt, the easier it is to get you a job when you are ready.

mmm.. oky, i'd much rather stay away from C related languages.. as i had bad experience with them :|.. but cool stuff you should probably extend the contests to include more elite hackers, such as those top people from perl/python/common lisp camp, thats where the real programmers congregate
