wow VB is pretty suite (haha i made a joke lol) i gotta start reading about this stuff, imma pick up a book on basics for vb, i need something to read for english anyway haha

I have done C++ and Visual Basic so far in my College Courses. I find VB to be so much easier than C++. I had trouble with C++ but I get VB pretty easily.

Also, we are doing Assembly programming! That is very interesting and I kind of like it. Definately not the easiest though.

Not right off I don't. But you can Google tons of useful tutorials online. And a book would be a good investment if you can get the $ together for one. But money aside, there are a lot of online resources.
