VB.net is VERY different from traditional VB.
Some good tutorials can be found at http://msdn.microsoft.com/ and also just about anywhere on google. But really, the .NET documentation on MS's website is great.

VB is different with VB.Net.
but i think VB.Net is getting more popular now.
you can try using it with Visual Studio.Net
you can combine several languages including ASP.NEt, C# and so on using the Visual Studio .Net
can anyone correct my view of this?

VB.NET is Visual Basics entry into the .NET framework. The .NET framework is a vast collection of libraries. It supports a large number of languages, even very old ones like COBOL (No one uses them, though).
VB.NET is similar to VB but has a lot of enhancements. It has a new development environ and support for all .NET technologies.
