alrighty in vb 6 i want to read a text file c:\info.txt into strings

This is the text file

password

4
7

i want each line to be read into its own string.
also i want when a error occurs , eg not finding the file, i dont want the program to quit, i want the program to
msgbox ("error, sorry the file c:\info.txt cannot be found")

or something simelar
