ComputerNovice Newb Techie Join Date: Nov 2005 Posts: 7	Sybase vs. Oracle What's the real difference between Sybase and Oracle, and in what situations is one preferable over the other? I work in Operations, and have seen both Sybase and Oracle used within in the same company (along with Sybase and Oracle DBA's), but have never been given a comprehensible answer as to why we used both instead of just sticking with one.
