i've read the FAQ's and i'm getting started with VB.
is there a free editor
if not what would you recomend as an inexpencive program to buy.

To build web applications and learn VB.NET, there are 2 very good and free editors.

Web Matrix : http://www.asp.net/webmatrix/ and
Visual Web Developer ( a free MS product) : http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/express/vwd/

You will need to download the .net framework (also free) at : http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
