lol Theres a school in my district that offers a class like that and tyhey use thoose simple 2d flash like games to get you oriented in the right direction on how the game should feel not how its coded. I have to aggree c++ is the best for actual game/app dev but i like perl (dont rant!!! i know perl is not for making games and i assure u i dont! i like building small apps that are actually usefull)
