i wann start learning php..but i have no clue how to start....someone please help....the only thing i know is that i need to install php and a IIS....but i dont know where to get them from

I used that book to start PHP too, and it's very good to get you going.

You don't necessarily have to install PHP on your computer unless you want to run PHP files on your computer without a different server. But if you use a host that has PHP support, then you can just upload the files to the server and run them in a browser without installing PHP on your own computer.

Oh, did they mention : on php.net, you can get windoze based binaries... i.e. php that you can run on your windoze box...
click on downloads...
