It is for install shield, used to install programs. ABIT uses it for there utilities. I have an ABIT uguro install on my desktop that has that icon.

so there are different install programs out there?
why would not companies come up with their own install programs?
do these install programs, check what hardware is available and configure their installation accordingly?
