Hi all,
I need a way to make a functional search field for the intranet site for the company I work for. I've seen free code on this site for the google search, but we sit behind a firewall, so this option won't work. Anybody know of a free solution to this problem? I'm not a programmer, so any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I've installed the indexing service and started the service. Can anyone tell me how to create a search button and field that will utlilize the indexing service?

Sorry for being vague...
what I'm trying to do (in the best way I can explain) is to create a search button and field for an intranet site. For example, when you go to http://www.cnn.com, there is a field to enter key words and a search button to start the search. That is exactly what I want for the intranet. I've installed microsofts indexing service (a windows component) to index files and provide something to search against. I want to be able to create the search function I described above and have it use the index service to search. Does that make sense? Please help. If more information is needed, please let me know. Thanks.
