hey im kinda new to php and stuff. But im trying to make a website kind of like Gaia Online...if anyone knows what that is
gaia online. what im really have problems with is making an avatar system like that one. I have basically no idea how to do it. I have a couple of things im trying, and i know they are possible ways but i cant get them to work. so far the most suggested way is a combination of php with GD and .png's but i cant really figure out how to use GD right with php. If anyone could help or give me some sort of good...relative..example to go off of that would be really great

Mmm...such as you have a pool of pictures which the user selects from, and you just layer them with PHP? (I only looked at the front page of that website.) If that's it...shouldn't be too hard at all...but I'm betting a bit more complex, some how?

no thats basically it lol...theres just a huge amount of items and they have to be able to swith any time
