| Need to hire a programmer, not sure which I've been making website professionally for small businesses and such for about 6 years. I am now starting my own business that requires a website with a cart, purchasing options, wishlist, login, all that stuff. I have only ever done the design aspect (xhtml, css, graphic design). What languages are used for creating such things and how much should I pay a programmer to implement it into my website for me?
Basically it needs to do everything newegg does apart from buyer feedback.

| Re: Need to hire a programmer, not sure which I live at a University, I definitely have the cheap labor available to do it, just need to know the basics such as what coding languages are used and how much to offer.

| Re: Need to hire a programmer, not sure which I would have no idea what a PHP programmer would charge, it depends on what your budget is but the range in experience would be vast.
I do know some PHP but not lots and would help out free if required or pointers needed.
Don't forget i don't know much but am learning!
EDIT: hotscripts have some awesome free scripts available to use freely and would happily help out with finding and helping you implement them also.

| Re: Need to hire a programmer, not sure which Well my budget is very large, so that is not a problem.
I guess what I'm asking is what would you charge, given you were a (poor) college student and this was a one time side job (meaning no college student would ask for $1,000 in their right mind, I would rather higher a professional).
Bugg- I really do appreciate the offer to help as well, I'll let you know if I have any questions regarding php.

| Re: Need to hire a programmer, not sure which I'm not sure how big the job is but I've been asked to do a couple jobs and charged $25 an hour. Took about 15-20 hours. At the end of my 3rd year now. |
