HI people,

I would like how to create macros in Excell, I know that visual basic is needed to do this. not sure?

If anybody could recommend a free good online tutorial I could use to do this I would be grateful. I biscally want to start learning from scratch.

Thanks

I was in a book store and there is reference to that very subject, Excell macros. Perhaps you have a local college near you that offers a course in that area. The last choice would be to get a book and after sometime of trying how to do it contact a teacher of the subject and get 1 hour sessions at home. It will be expensive for a short while but you will ramp up much quicker. Hope this input is what you expected.

thank you very much for your response. I will see if there are any local colleges that cover this particular area.

I have been looking on the internet via google, I thought that there may be some online tutorials as well. Do you know of any ?

Thanks again

you dont NEED to use vb to create a new macro. In excel '02 choose 'tools\Macro\Record New Macro' and then do your procedure and choose to end the macro recording. Which ever key functions you chose to execute the macro will now be redy for use.

Ill try and find you an online tutorial back in a flash.

Alright, well google came through again.. surprise surprise. Took me less then 10 seconds to find you 822 hits on "excel macro tutorial".

Enjoy.
