Default Lost password

some friends and i are developing a password recovery for Internet Explorer. We've programmed our functions well so far, however we dont know where the stored passwords are located. Our hunch is that the folder IE/Word apps are saved in the registry somewhere, but as any programmer knows, its a big registry and we'd love to narrow our search so that we can finish our project. Any suggestions or ideas are greatly appreciated.
P.S. "My Computer search" cant find.

Default Re: Lost password

You know how to write the necessary functions to get at IE's passwords, yet the registry is too big for you to look through? C'mon now.

There are multiple passwords - the supervisor, saved user/pass combos, etc. Which ones are you going after? I suspect narrowing this search will find what you're looking for: internet - Google Groups
