Default Javascript code & tutorials

I am taking a course in advanced web development and it includes Javascript. I am having no problems thus far, as I have programming experience in other languages and Javascript syntax is coming naturally to me, almost too naturally lol. I am hungry for more, so I was wondering does anyone have a place that is good for n00bs for learning Javascript using code examples ? I know I could Google it, but I wanted personal opinions and Google isnt good for that. Later in the course we will use PHP and AJAX, although we are told very minimal PHP. So a site including that stuff along with Javascript examples would be awesome.

EchoEcho.Com - Web Hosting - JavaScript Tutorial - HTML tutorial - CSS Tutorial - Flash Tutorial - Online for free! has some decent stuff.

Check out Hot Scripts :: The net's largest PHP, CGI, Perl, JavaScript and ASP script collection and resource web portal too. If you want to learn by other code, there's a ton available there. Not all free, but a lot of it is.

If you have a specific application to make, I usually just Google that and find some other examples and kinda patch stuff together. Javascript is kinda fussy at times so it's good to see other examples.

Excellent, Craze ! Thank you. That is exactly what I want, recommendations from knowledgeable people, not just my own SE results. Thanks so much
