I'm trying to teach myself how to work with animation in java because my Java class in school doesn't go into it.
I'm starting at the basics, with movable text and making simple slideshows. One thing I don't fully understand is the getGraphics() method. I have to use it sometimes and I don't fullly understand why.
What does it do?
