I really suggest buying a book, I found that easier then reading a computer screen.

I learned HTML just by using, screwing around with Dreamweaver. U can use any HTML editor like Frontpage or Cutepage or Adobe GoLive and u will learn the basics very quickly.

Just add a picture in an HTML Editor and click at the source button and u can see the code wich adds a picture.

The sites mentioned above are very useful too. U can learn more advanced HTML tags that way.
